About Us

We are an established business operating in this sector for two decades. We have a small fleet of vehicles available for undertaking transfers. Cars, Minibuses & People Carriers.

Vacancy

Relief Driver to cover Airport and West Highland Way Transfers from April till October 2009.

Working Hours

Sporadic jobs. The majority of transfers are either early morning or afternoon with the occasional evening. Working hours are calculated by the minute and paid every Monday by cheque or directly into your bank account.

Salary

£7.00 Per Hour subject to income tax.

Taxation

P.A.Y.E charged at the basic rate, unless instructed otherwise.

Your Suitability

This position may suit a fit able bodied retired person of smart appearance with plenty of free time on their hands.
He or she should feel comfortable in dealing with the general public and be able to work occasional shifts at short notice. Ideally applicants should be within a 30-minute drive or less from our base and have their own transport to get to and from the base.

Your responsibilities

Applicants must have relevant experience driving vehicles of equal size to the vehicles on this website. Our Vehicles
Drivers have the sole responsibility for looking after our vehicles and trailers when working. Drivers must have experience driving trailers and be able to reverse with a trailer in tow.

Your Working Duties

Applicants need to be versatile and able to undertake working duties with ease. It’s essential that you are adaptable and able to switch between driving all our vehicles with ease.

Drivers Licence

You must have held a full UK manual Drivers licence for a minimum of 2 years.

Private Hire Drivers Licence

You need to purchase or currently hold a Highland Council Private Hire Drivers Licence or Taxi Drivers Licence
to drive licenced private hire vehicles from our fleet. The licence is issued to you for three years and is not locked to your employer.

Your Age

Applicants must be over 35 Years for insurance purposes.

No Smoking Policy

We operate a strict No Smoking Policy. It’s illegal to smoke in our vehicles as it is a place of work.

Your Initiative

Our drivers must be able to work on their own initiative as nothing is set in stone when dealing with flights and schedules. If a problem arises or a route diversion is required you must be able to think on your feet and resolve matters. Drivers need to be able to work by and enforce our guide lines and rules & polices as outlined by our company.

Airport and City Long Distance Transfers

Job Description

Undertaking transfers to and from destinations all over Scotland including Airports, Ferry Terminals and Railway Stations in varies cities and towns. Drivers are required to help clients with their luggage. Suitcases can be up to 30kg in weight so a reasonable level of fitness is required.

Working Dress Code

You are the first image a client has of our company when you meet them at the airport.

Men

Black or dark blue trousers with black shoes and a blue or white shirt with collar.

Women

Black or dark blue trousers and a blue or white shirt with collar, black or dark blue shoes or alternatively a knee length skirt with blue or white shirt with collar and dark blue or black shoes.

West Highland Way Transfers

Job Description

Undertaking transfers on the West Highland Way. Usually pick ups in the mid to late afternoon
to accommodation establishements in Glencoe, Ballachulish & Kinlochleven with return transfers the following morning.

Working Dress Code

You are the first image a client has of our company when you meet them. Casual smart appearance is required as outlined in the Highland Council Private Hire Drivers Licence terms and conditions.
